What do I do if I have forgotten my password or username?

Click on automated password/username lookup form. Alternatively, you can use the automated password/username lookup form on the Members Area page. Please note that if you have recently changed your e-mail address, WE SELL BUSINE$$ES will send your password to your new e-mail address.

 

How do I change my password?
In order to change your password:

  1. Log into the site using your username and password.
  2. Go to the “Edit My Profile” drop down menu and select “Contact Info.”
  3. On the Contact Info page go down to the password area.
  4. Enter your current password in the “Enter Password” Field.
  5. Enter your new password in the “Enter New Password Field.”
  6. Reenter your new password in the “Reenter New Password Field.”
  7. Click on the “Update” button.

 

What if I get an error message saying my password is incorrect?
There could be several reasons why your password and username are not matching up. First, try using your browser's "back" button to return to the login screen. Clear the fields and reenter your information. Another cause could be that you updated your account with a new password, so please make sure that you are using the new password you have chosen by using the automated password/username lookup form so that the correct password and username can be sent to you.

 

How do I change my e-mail address?
In order to change your e-mail address:

  1. Log into the site using your username and password.
  2. Go to the “Edit My Profile” drop down menu and select “Contact Info.”
  3. On the Contact Info page go down to the e-mail field.
  4. Type your new e-mail address in the e-mail field.
  5. Click on the “Update” button.

 

What if I'm not getting my e-mails from WE SELL BUSINE$$ES?

Most e-mail providers now routinely employ anti-spam software, and because WE SELL BUSINE$$ES may at times send you large volumes of e-mail, your e-mail provider might be classifying some of our e-mail messages as spam. There are a couple of steps that you can take to prevent or remedy this situation. First, in the event you receive a large amount of e-mail from our website in one day and don't want to read them all at once, please be sure that you don’t report any of our e-mail as junk or spam. If you do, then all your future WE SELL BUSINE$$ES e-mails will probably be labeled as spam, and you won't receive them. Second, our website’s different departments currently use the following e-mail addresses:

  • billing@wesellbusinesses.us
  • chat@wesellbusinesses.us
  • info@wesellbusinesses.us
  • listings@wesellbusinesses.us
  • members@wesellbusinesses.us

In order to make sure that you receive e-mail from other WE SELL BUSINE$$ES members, as well as announcements and updates from the Company, please select your e-mail provider from the list below and follow the instructions provided and add the above e-mail addresses.

Hotmail
1. Choose "Options" at the upper right of your inbox screen.
2. Choose the Mail first option, "Junk E-Mail Protection".
3. Choose the link, "Safe List".
4. Type "wesellbusinesses.us" in the address box.
5. Click the Add button.

Yahoo! Mail
1. From your Inbox, select "Add Contact" from the "Addresses" pull-down menu.
2. Fill out the "E-mail" field with the e-mail address from which you'd like to receive mail.
3. Choose "Save", then "Done."
4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 for each WE SELL BUSINE$$ES e-mail address.

America Online (AOL)
1. In your AOL Mailbox, choose the Mail Tab menu, then select "Address Book."
2. Choose the "Add” icon, which is located at the bottom of the pop-up window.
3. Fill out the "Other E-mail" field with the e-mail address from which you'd like to receive mail.
4. Click the "Primary E-mail" box.
5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 for each WE SELL BUSINE$$ES e-mail address.

Microsoft Network (MSN)
1. Choose the "Junk E-mail" link at the bottom left of your inbox.
2. Select the third Guard Settings link: "Safe List".
3. Enter the e-mail address from which you'd like to receive mail in the "E-mail" field of the pop-up window.
4. Click Save.
5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 for each WE SELL BUSINE$$ES e-mail address.

Microsoft Outlook
1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. On the Preferences tab, under E-mail, click Junk E-mail.
3. Click the Safe Senders or Safe Recipients tab.
4. Click Add.
5. Type “wesellbusinesses.us” in the address box.
6. Click the OK button.

Other ISPs
1. Add the following addresses to any address books or safe lists with your e-mail service provider:

  • billing@wesellbusinesses.us
  • chat@wesellbusinesses.us
  • info@wesellbusinesses.us
  • listings@wesellbusinesses.us
  • members@wesellbusinesses.us
2. It's a good idea to routinely check your spam, junk and blocked e-mail folders to see if any WE SELL BUSINE$$ES messages were routed there by mistake.

 

How do I terminate my WE SELL BUSINE$$ES membership?
We will be sorry to see you leave us, and we hope that your experience with WE SELL BUSINE$$ES was successful and profitable. In order to terminate your membership, you must notify us in writing within ten (10) or more days prior to your renewal date of your intent to terminate your membership. You must send your Notice of Intent to Terminate Membership to us via e-mail to billing@wesellbusinesses.us or by US Mail to “Billing Department, We Sell Businesses, Inc., 1400 Hubbell Place, Suite 613, Seattle, WA 98101.” When using the US Mail, we recommend that you send your notice using Certified Mail with a Return Receipt. If your Notice of Intent to Terminate Membership correspondence is not received in our offices within ten (10) or more days prior to your renewal date, we will not cancel your membership until the following renewal date of your membership. You may also give us Notice of Intent to Terminate Membership by calling the Company’s offices at (206) 344-4899 within ten (10) or more days prior to your renewal date. Upon our receipt of your Notice of Intent to Terminate, we will process your termination request within five (5) business days, and we will send you an e-mail confirming your termination request to the e-mail address currently registered to your account. Once we process your termination request, you will be unable to access your profile, listings, or any other website user products or services that we offer as of your renewal date.
